Big data. Actionable insights. AI. Data should be at the heart of everything we do in housing. It should be an enabler, driving business decision-making so we can deliver exceptional outcomes for our residents. Yet the reality is that fragmented data systems, outdated IT systems, a reliance on manual data entry and the lack of standardised data entry mean we are decades behind other sectors in being data-driven. As data rises to the top of the Regulator’s annual sector risk profile, will this be enough to encourage the change we want to see?
